500 zloty 1976, Casimir Pulaski

A 500 zloty coin with Pulaski's image and a similar one with Kosciuszko were minted in 1976 on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of American Independence. Both Poles were heroes of the United States involved in the fight for US independence. For political reasons, the PRL coins minted in 1976 could not display information about their true reason for being minted. Coin in NGC slab.
