RR-, City of Elbląg, Charles Gustav, Ort 1657 N+H, hybrid 1658/1657

A very rare and interesting ort, a hybrid of a vintage 1658 obverse and a 1657 reverse (in a rare variety). The obverse is consistent with the 1658 stamp (we recommend comparing it to the only piece listed on Onebid sold in 2018 at 4 GNDM for 11,500 PLN https://onebid.pl/pl/monety-karol-x-gustaw-ort-elblag-1658-nh-rzadkosc/211951 The obverse of the offered ort was struck with exactly the same stamp. The legend REX.S.G.V is characteristic of the 1658 vintage, while the 1657 D.G.REX always ends the legend. The reverse, however, in a very rare variant with N+H separated by a cross. An interesting ort minted during the reign of Jan Kazimierz during the occupation of Elblag by Karol Gustav.
