RR-, Sigismund III Vasa, 1629 thaler, Bydgoszcz, SISGIS error, very rare

A very rare variety of crown thaler with an error in the name, SISGIS instead of the correct SIGIS ! This error must have been noticed quite quickly at the mint and the stamp destroyed as these thalers are very rare and known only from single pieces. A thaler of this type is missing from such a large collection as the E. Hutten-Czapski collection. The coat of arms of Half-Kozic on the obverse. Variety with a bow behind the sword, which is shorter and does not reach the obverse inscription. A natural piece from circulation. Coin with an old patina. Great rarity. Recommended
