On the obverse: crowned S, below it the letters BB, on the sides the date 16-00; legend SIG III DG REX POL M D L, on the reverse: crowned Coats of Arms of the Crown and Lithuania, below it Lewart in a cartouche, in the field three rosettes; legend SOLIDVS REG POL. Crown shillings of Sigismund III Vasa, are exceptionally diverse coins minted at several mints, representing an interesting and still underrated collector's subject. Despite so far, not very high rarity ratings in catalogs, most of them are extremely difficult to collect due to poor minting in coinage silver - here a very nicely preserved piece with a fine luster. A rare coin, appreciated by collectors, such as a piece of this variety on PDA18/517 sold for 2596zl
