RRR-, John III Sobieski, Ort 1677, Bydgoszcz, unlisted bust

Sobieski's crown orts are far rarer than those of other rulers. Unlisted HYBRYDA, bust as for the types with letters MH covered by twigs (p. 45 bust 6), but with a reverse of the later type with a straight shield with a smaller crown with letters S-B (p. 49 reverse 1). On the obverse the characteristic clasp - virtually no stripes (or a trace of 3), while the busts noted at Shatalin with this reverse have 5 or 6 stripes and no clasp of the robe. A beautiful piece, attractive details, patina. The reverse of impressive minting quality. Ort is back in our offer after two years.
