Reference: Krzyżaniwskij 68 R8
An extremely rare puło, in which the crown on the reverse does not contain fragments of fleurons protruding to the sides. The only puce of Louis of Hungary, which in the catalog of Krzyzanivskiy was not accompanied by a photo, but only by a footnote, with a reference to Kopicki(oral information? collection? because such a puce in the Kopicki catalog does not appear).
On the obverse is a crowned letter L with balls on the sides, all in an ornamental cartouche, on the reverse is a crown without side decorations on the sides; circles around, all in a cartouche. Ruthenian coins were the first Polish copper coins minted by Casimir the Great, Władysław Opolczyk and Ludwik Andegawenski, and until 1650 they remained the only money minted in copper in the Polish lands. Minted with care, in a non-precious metal and having a low circulation value, the pieces preserved to this day are usually in poor condition and obtaining a well-preserved piece is difficult. The rarest variant from the regiment of Louis of Hungary, deeply struck, in patina. Great rarity, for the best collections.
