RRR-, November Uprising, 2 gold 1831, SIMPLE CROSS in £, 2x rarer than ZLOTE

One of the rarest double-gold coins of the November Uprising, so far undescribed. Catalogs distinguish bicentennial coins into variations with respect to the letter L in the denomination name ZLOTY. A two-penny with ZLOTY (through L) is erroneously considered the rarest, but twice as rare is a variety with a thick, SIMPLE DASH in the L. At that time, in the description, we provided occurrence statistics: of the 379 pieces total listed at WCN and Onebid auctions of insurgent two-zloty coins, 16 pieces (4.22%) were of the ZLOTE variety, while twice as many, only 8 pieces (2.11%), were of the straight-dash variety.
