Of the 196 pieces of this denarius listed on Onebid, practically always the bishop is without a headdress, with curly hair, or wearing a flat headdress of the piuska type; only 3 listed pieces were with a mitre headdress. In contrast, a denarius with an ornamental headgear with a pommel was never recorded. Medieval denarius in beautiful mint condition, beautiful cabinet patina, very high grading note.
