On the obverse a cross with a heart in a crown of thorns, in the field the date: August 5, 1864 / Warsaw; in the rim the legend: TO THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT LOST BY MOSCALS *. On the reverse a crossed saber and a banner, against which a Legion Eagle, on the field dates: 1914 - 1916 / 6VIII, in the rim the legend: CZEĆ LEGIONOM LIGA KOBIET P.W. Rare medal made in Knedler's factory with characteristic finish for his products - "thick" tarnishing and patination, no rubbing or mechanical damage, condition close to perfect for this medal. A sought-after numismatic piece.
